Canvas replaces D2L starting Winter Term

By University Communications

Viks, be prepared to have your mind blown by a much more accessible and flexible way to keep up with your classes: Canvas is replacing D2L as PSU’s learning management system. Starting Jan. 3, you’ll use Canvas to access your courses.

We know, we know: it’s a lot to take in, and you may be worried about coming back to a brand-new system. Never fear! You can take this short online skill-building class that will help you learn how to use Canvas right this very second. To access this course, visit this website to enroll.

You will be able to use Canvas through either your computer’s web browser or on your mobile device using the Canvas app. The Canvas app can be downloaded from the app store on your device for free.

Follow these simple steps to use Canvas for the first time:

  1. Go to canvas.pdx.edu and log in with your ODIN credentials.
  2. Logging in will bring you to your Canvas dashboard, where you can access all of the courses that you are enrolled in.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy, right?

Remember, if you are having any technology-related problems, you can contact the OIT Helpdesk at help@pdx.edu or 503-725-4357.
