During the second annual televised PSU Showcase, you’ll meet students, alumni and professors who are making our city a better place. See how incredibly important Portland State is to our city and region through a surprising mix of stories and performances.
Among the Vikings to be featured is Ian Karmel, who will receive the 2023 Simon Benson Award for Alumni Achievement. A 2010 PSU graduate, Karmel is known for his time as head writer for the Emmy award-winning The Late Late Show with James Corden and was voted Portland’s Funniest Person in 2011.
PSU’s award-winning chamber choir will preform and you’ll get to meet several other PSU alumni, current students, and members of the leadership team, including new president Dr. Ann Cudd.
KOIN Sports Director and proud PSU alum Adam Bjarnson ’95 hosts the PSU Showcase, which will be televised on KOIN and KRCW in Portland and streaming on koin.com.
